The 300th Post (and a giveaway)

This is it, folks ...

my 300th blog post!

Whether you've been along for the ride since the beginning, or are just now joining in ... I want to say thanks!  You've been excited with me, you've encouraged me, you've helped me through some challenges, and most of all, you are the reason I keep blogging!

As a little way to say thanks for sticking with me, I'm going to give away of one of two things ... you get to choose which you would like!

1. One of the most well-known cookbooks out there: The Joy of Cooking!  This book has it all, folks.  Seriously.  For a starting cook or a seasoned one, it'd be a great addition to any kitchen!

2. A handy-dandy PlanetWise reusable wet bag for cloth diapering (or summer adventures that may require transporting wet things like bathing suits!).  I keep one of these in the diaper bag at all times!

So, how to enter, you ask?

1. Follow the blog via Google Friend Connect and leave a comment saying so (if you're already a follower, leave a comment saying so) along with which prize you'd prefer

2. Blog about the giveaway and leave me a comment saying so, along with which prize you'd prefer

3.  Share a little love in the comments ... a favorite post, a recipe you've tried, something you'd like to see on the blog, or a fun shout-out ... and say which prize you'd prefer.

You can do all three to triple your chances to win!  And, make sure you tell me which one you hope to win!

Giveaway will be open until Thursday, May 23rd at 5 PM.

  1. Rhymes with smile story: I first saw your blog before I'd ever met you, and all I knew was that you were the cousin of an old friend and hopefully my new friend in a town where I knew nobody! The blog was enough to convince me that you were awesome and I would be lucky to be your friend, and I've been hooked ever since :) Congrats on 300! The wet bag look very cool.

  2. Yay! I've been following your awesome blog from Day 1, and I've loved every post! : )

Congratulations on 300 posts! That is quite an accomplishment, and so many people have benefitted from your craftiness, your thriftiness, your silliness, your delicious recipes, and so much more. Thank you for sharing yourself and your talents through this blog. : )

You inspired me to use cloth diapers with your first bambino (when that time comes for me), so if I were to win your giveaway, I'd probably choose the wet bag, (the Joy of Cooking, although a classic that I should probably own, is not particularly, as we say in our family, "Lauren-friendly"). ; )

  3. First off, congrats on 300, but even more so on all the amazing outfits, aprons, meals and household craftiness! You are amazing! There is no way to pick a favorite post from the pizza dough recipe, which I love, the yogurt recipe, which my hubby loves, or the recent fiesta recipes that I got to taste, they are all super. I guess my favorite rhymes with a smile posts have to be the ones with your girls! I love watching them grow, it makes the time between visits bearable. I can’t wait to see what the next 300 post will bring; new recipes, patterns, cities, jobs, houses and maybe even babies!

I think the Joy of Cooking would be awesome to own.

  4. Congrats on 300 from Rhode Island, Neighbors again! It was so great to see you twice in the last two weeks. I did make your recent vindaloo original a few weeks ago, and we liked it! I think I've made a bunch more, but I can't remember them right now.

and I'd take the joy of Cooking.
